Data deletion
How to request deletion of the data Transcenda holds about you. Revoke our app access, then email or WhatsApp us — we delete within 30 days under UAE PDPL and GDPR Art. 17.

If you have connected your Meta Business to Transcenda via meta.transcenda.io, we hold:
- Your Meta user ID, name, email
- Long-lived OAuth tokens scoped to capabilities you granted
- Inbound/outbound message content and metadata (WhatsApp, Pages, Instagram — depending on grants)
- Audit logs of staff actions taken on your behalf
How to request deletion
- Revoke our app access first at business.facebook.com → Settings → Apps — find "TranscendaIO" and remove it. This stops any new data flowing to us.
- Email us at [email protected] from the address tied to your Meta account, with subject line:
DELETE MY DATA. Include your Meta user ID or business name. - Or contact us via WhatsApp at +971 4 368 2705 with the words
DELETE MY DATA.
What we delete
Within 30 days of your verified request (per UAE PDPL and GDPR Art. 17):
- Your OAuth tokens (immediate)
- Message content, contact records, derived insights
- Backups containing your identifiers
What we may retain
Transactional and legal records we are required to keep (e.g. for tax, AML, or to resolve disputes) are excluded as permitted by law. We will tell you what's retained and why.
Meta's automatic deletion callback
If you remove our app from Meta's settings, Meta sends us an automatic deletion notification. We process it within 24 hours and email you the confirmation code.
